am on my dinner break at work. just finished a big plate of gnocchi, with olive oil, fresh basil, and sauteed garlic. made it here through nine inches of fresh snow. it's still snowing, though some freezing drizzle is mixing in. has been a wet snow, and has garlanded every tree, light post, mailbox, and wire. weather says, 3 more inches, then freezing drizzle, then 2 more inches tomorrow. should all be reaching you soon. a haiku below that mainichi published last january. be well, ed
heavy snow the far horizon reaches the tip of my nose
hi, ed, How is it that you eat so well on the job (and then bring junk food home)? I'm glad that reading about food doesn't make me hungry, or you'd make me into a fat pisano.
Your midwest sleet, etc. has already hit Schenectady. Should be worth a haiku or two (but not until I've had some sleep).
