the litigator takes
one-third of the donuts
david giacalone ("dagosan") looks at the foibles and ironies of the human condition, using poems structured like haiku but called "senryu", and with an occasional photo "haiga" (an image with a linked poem).

Hi, Ed. Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to this site to respond to you -- I'm out of the habit of checking out this dusty old weblog.
I'm glad you like "snack room," and (as I've told you by email), your Labor Day wal-mart senryu is a winner. As we/ve discussed, the changing of one word can make a very big difference.
In my opinion, adjectives in senryu should describe rather than ascribe.
