New Year's Eve
I slip on
my own frozen footprint
A holiday post card from Roberta Beary, with an annual Happy New Year's haiku, inspired me to actually write something today. The poem was "inspired by actual events," as we're ending 2013 with a lot of frozen slush on the sidewalks, alleys and parking lots of Schenectady.
Happy New Year to all who stumble across simply senryu this Holiday Season. Watch your step, please.
